I trained on the Contemporary Dance BA(Hons) degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. This degree consisted of intensive physical training for professional performance. After graduating from Laban I completed a Master's degree in Performance Practices at De Montfort University. This gave me a greater grounding in how we can talk about performance and also the lineages of performance history and writings.

I worked for five academic years at De Montfort University as an hourly paid lecturer. In this time I delivered modules on Contemporary Dance, Ballet for Contemporary Dancers and Ensemble Performance. I also taught Professional Classes in Leicester and Nottingham and at Stagecoach Market Harborough.

I created choreography for the opening ceremony of Boomtown Fair for four consecutive years. In the world of Carnival Arts and Outdoor Events I have worked either as a performer of choreographer with Mandinga Arts, Mahogany Carnival Arts, Non Comprende, Bassline Circus, Continental Drifts, ArtReach and Inspirate.

In 2022 I moved into administration and I currently work as a International CPD Coordinator at the University of Leicester. Whilst I no longer primarily work as a freelance performer/ teacher /choreographer I do still take up freelance work and passion projects alongside my full time administration post.

I am currently preparing for a mixed reality performance choregraphed by Kerryn Wise.
